Welcome to the website of Physical education. Here are some answers to different questions:

I grade on 4 different grading scales. They are broken down this way: K, Grades 1 and 2, Grades 3, 4, and 5, and finally grades 6 - 8. The rubric found under Physical Education is used in Grades 6 - 8.

Tennis shoes are required for participation in this class.

I change units approximately each month; The Janurary units are:

Kindergarten through 3rd grade has Balloon Play, Big Ball Volleyball
Grades 4 - 6 does volleyball skill development, Lead-up games to volleyball, uses different sizes of volleyballs and finally games will be played
Grades 7 - 8 will review volleyball skills, and begin to play volleyball. I ask that all games are played with two hits. They will end their unit with the student/Faculty Volleyball game during Catholic Schools week
This is also the time historically that Spanish and P.E. run an interdiciplanary unit of Spanish Volleyball.
